because air is a gas and will take the shape of whatever the container is, as well as pressure being constant given the conainer isnt flexible. pressurize the intake with a gauge hooked up to the balance tube and a gauge hooked up to the intake. tap in at the intake and then at the balance tube. anyone who wants to do this test will need his boost leak tester and an extra gauge or even your after market boost gauge(mechanical only). you will see whatever psi your testing at on both gauges. before you get your panties all bunched up even more, i realize you think im hurting your business by showing people how to make a boost leak tester out of 3 cents worth of supplies and 5 minutes of your time. STOP WORRYING, like kenny said you cater to lazy people, and they buy it, which means all the more power to you. im not gonna argue whose is better, because they FUNCTION the same. actually, you know what, yours is better becauses its nicer looking and you have to pay shipping on it.
